3M IJ160-10 is a 4 mil, opaque white calendered vinyl print film with a matte finish. Its gray Controltac pressure-activated adhesive allows sliding and repositioning during application. This IJ160-10 version does not include Comply air-release channels. For compatible solvent, UV and latex inkjet printing and suitable flat-surface signs, commercial vehicle markings, emblems and vending-machine graphics. Removable with heat. Apply dry and follow current 3M guidance for printing, graphic protection and installation.

Manufacturer resources and application guidance

Apply IJ160-10 dry to suitable flat surfaces. On riveted panels, expect the film to bridge or tent around rivets. The general vehicle guide does not make this film suitable for complex curves or deep recesses. IJ160-10 does not have Comply air-release channels; do not use the IJ160C-specific channel instructions as if they apply to this version.

Fully dry or cure the print before laminating or applying it. Follow the film-specific removal conditions and the substrate precautions in the removal guide. On glass, do not use heat-aided removal.

Separately sold graphic protection

The film bulletin lists 3M 8518 gloss, 8519 luster and 8520 matte overlaminates as protection options. Select the exact film, printer/ink system and intended application together; see the 3M 8518 / 8519 / 8520 overlaminate bulletin (PDF, September 2026). Sold separately; choose the appropriate finish, width and length. This recommendation does not establish floor-system suitability or warranty coverage.

Nominal 54 in × 50 yd and 60 in × 50 yd choices match the corresponding media dimensions. The listed 48.5 in × 50 yd laminate is wider than 48 in media and may require trimming; no 48.5 in × 100 yd option is listed. A 50 yd laminate roll does not cover a full 100 yd media roll. Check laminator capacity, required usable length and processing allowance before choosing.
