MetaGuard MG-300 is a calendered PVC overlaminate for protecting printed graphics on flat or gently curved surfaces. Its permanent clear solvent-based acrylic adhesive contains UV inhibitors. The family is matched with Metamark MD3 print media.

Apply with a laminator after the inks have cured. Confirm suitability for the exact print medium and ink system, and follow processing guidance. UV inhibitors do not by themselves establish compatibility with every UV ink.

Use the MG-302 matte reference and the exact print-media instructions together. The technical sheet distinguishes matte MG-302 from gloss MG-305 and the thicker Sandtex MG-306; do not transfer Sandtex specifications or floor suitability to this matte laminate.
Allow prints to cure and follow the laminator guidance for flat or gently curved applications. Its family-level MD3/MDP pairing requires exact print-film and ink checks. UV is mentioned in the features, while the handling section lists solvent, eco-solvent and latex; do not treat that as approval for every UV ink or substitute UV inhibitors for ink compatibility.

Matched films and overlaminates
The following exact print-film sheets name MetaGuard MG-300 as their matched laminate family. Each linked roll matches this MG-302 matte roll’s 54-inch width and 55-yard length:
- MD3-RC clear gloss removable film: the matte laminate changes the finished appearance; the combination is not optically clear.
- MDP-R white matte removable film: Confirm the supplied film’s composition before specifying it for a PVC-free project. No universal clean-removal guarantee.
- MDP-HB white gloss high-tack blockout film: for suitable non-floor graphics; high tack does not replace substrate testing.
MG-302 matte is not Sandtex MG-306 or FloorArt. These links do not establish floor-slip approval, deep-recess suitability or compatibility with every substrate.
These recommendations are limited to solvent, eco-solvent and latex prints. Confirm the actual print system before use; the film’s ability to accept UV ink does not establish compatibility with every UV-printed laminate system.
Follow both exact product sheets, allow the printed inks to cure fully and test the actual printed film before lamination. Use the specified cold-lamination process on flat or gently curved graphics. These separately purchased rolls are not a kit, a stock-availability promise or a finished-graphic warranty.
