MD-DOT MetaDot is a calendered print vinyl for short-term indoor promotions on suitable smooth, flat surfaces. Its dotted permanent clear acrylic adhesive is designed to let the graphic be positioned and repositioned during installation.
- SKU: MD-DOT-02-137-50
- Roll size: 54 in × 55 yd
- Finish: Clear Matte
- Film: Calendered PVC, 100 µm nominal
- Adhesive: Dotted permanent clear acrylic
- Release liner: Plain kraft, 135 gsm nominal
Apply dry and unstressed to flat surfaces. Leave a 10 mm unprinted border; edge-to-edge printing is not recommended. Test print, allow inks to cure and confirm substrate suitability. Not recommended for polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE). Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for painted walls.
Manufacturer technical and application resources
- Metamark MD-DOT MetaDot technical data sheet (PDF): family specifications, print preparation, curing and dry-application instructions, including Clear Matte MD-DOT-02.
- DécorMark self-adhesive wall-covering guide (PDF): the wall-assessment and preparation reference named by the MetaDot sheet for emulsion-painted walls; MetaDot-specific instructions take precedence.
This is Clear Matte MD-DOT-02, not White Matte MD-DOT-01. Retain dry-only, unstressed application to suitable smooth, flat indoor surfaces and the 10 mm unprinted border. Installation repositioning does not change the dotted adhesive classification from permanent to removable.
Follow MetaDot’s curing requirement rather than the shorter general wall-guide interval; wall-panel overlap guidance does not replace the unprinted border. Test the actual paint and substrate. Removal without paint damage or residue is not guaranteed. No outdoor durability or generic vinyl-overlaminate care approval is implied.
The offered configuration remains MD-DOT-02-137-50, Clear Matte, 54 in x 55 yd; metric family dimensions do not replace it.
