FDC 3522 finish and product references
- FDC 3522 etched-glass finish chart (38th-edition catalog, PDF, page 9): Reference chips for 500 Etched Glass, 501 Silver Etched Glass and 502 Sparkle Etched Glass. Only the options listed on this product page are offered here.
- FDC 3522 manufacturer family overview: Product characteristics, application categories and finish information.
Use the selected 3522 item number and finish. The catalog also lists 3572 punched material; that is not the unpunched roll offered here. Screen and printed chips are approximate; use a physical sample to assess the etched effect and appearance on your glass.
The manufacturer's family page and technical bulletin differ on gloss/matte appearance and thermal-transfer printing. If either matters to your job, confirm the supplied film's finish and thermal-transfer suitability before ordering. Do not treat these references as approval for every ink, glazing type, transfer tape or laminate. Test the actual film, printing process and surface before production.
