FDC 2901 paint-mask resources
- FDC 2901 manufacturer product page: White 002 and Yellow 006, roll sizes and paint-mask use limits.
- FDC 2901 Product Data Bulletin (PDF, February 17, 2025): this edition specifically lists Yellow 006. Confirm the applicable specifications for White 002 with FDC rather than assuming every figure covers both colors.
FDC lists dry installation, with no wet application, printing or lamination. Test the film, paint and actual substrate together, including removal, before production; a low-tack adhesive does not guarantee clean removal from every finish.
The linked references disagree about paint-baking and exterior use. The existing interior-use and no-paint-baking limits above remain in force; the bulletin's bake-temperature entry is not authorization to bake this supplied material. Obtain exact-stock guidance from FDC before considering a different process.
