Transparent, matte, orange-peel finish polypropylene film with an acrylic adhesive system. Nekoosa identifies AT60N as low tack for larger lettering and graphics and lists gloss/smooth vinyl in its technical data. Test the specific vinyl and release liner before production; compatibility is not established for every cast or calendered vinyl. Allows for wet application without leaving any adhesive residue on the vinyl. Exceptional clarity provides ultimate see-through when applying graphics.
Product resources and application guidance
Use the AT60N / AT60n column, not the AT65 or AT75.1 columns: low-tack clear application film for larger lettering and graphics. The technical sheet lists gloss/smooth vinyl for AT60N, a 3.7 mil facestock and a one-year shelf life. Test the specific vinyl, release liner and finished graphic before production.
The Clear Choice overview permits wet or dry methods, but this does not make every vinyl or substrate suitable for wet application. Follow the selected vinyl's instructions and allow it to bond before removing the tape.
Apply one sheet without stretching it or trapping air, then peel the tape back against itself at about 180 degrees after the graphic has bonded. The linked general guide's instruction to wet paper tape for release is for paper, not this clear film. Fully cure printed graphics according to the ink and film makers' instructions before masking, and avoid prolonged or hot storage of masked graphics.
These documents cover several Clear Choice grades and uses. AT60N digital-print protection is not proof of compatibility with every printed medium or a recommendation for heat-transfer vinyl. Use the exact roll size stated in this listing.
