Manufacturer technical and application resources
- MetaGuard MG-80 technical data sheet (PDF): MG-85 gloss and MG-82 matte family specifications, lamination, ink-curing and storage guidance.
- Metamark regional durability guide (PDF): climate-zone and exposure guidance for interpreting the technical sheet.
- Cleaning and Maintenance of Vinyl (PDF): for printed graphics protected with a vinyl overlaminate; confirm that the complete graphic and substrate are suitable for the cleaning method.
Follow the technical sheet's laminator, ink-curing and handling directions. It lists solvent, eco-solvent and latex print systems. Manufacturer sales literature also lists UV, but UV suitability is not confirmed here; confirm the exact ink, print media and overlaminate combination before production.
The MD-80 reference is a family-level match, not a verified available US print-media SKU or a kit. The technical sheet's unprinted-film durability assumes vertical Northern European exposure, not guaranteed US finished-graphic life. Use the regional guide for the actual location and exposure.
These family documents also describe the matte finish and metric roll presentations. This offer remains MG-85-137-50Y, clear gloss, 54 in x 50 yd; its finish, SKU and roll length are unchanged.
