MD5-AB is a polymeric calendered print vinyl for flat or slightly curved graphics. Its permanent grey MetaScape adhesive combines air-release channels with improved opacity to help reduce substrate show-through. The family is matched with MetaGuard MG-700 overlaminates.

Apply dry and unstressed. Not suitable over rivets or complex recesses, or recommended for low-energy surfaces such as polypropylene. Test print, allow inks to cure and confirm substrate suitability.

This MetaScape version is dry-application only. Apply without stretching; the sheet excludes rivets and complex recesses. Do not transfer wet-application permission from standard MD5 or MD5-B. Test the intended substrate and print process, use the correct print profile, and follow the sheet's drying guidance before laminating or installing. Drying can take longer than the stated minimum under some printing and drying conditions.
The sheet's unprinted-film durability reference is based on vertical Northern European exposure, not a blanket US or finished-graphic guarantee. Use the regional guide for the actual location and exposure, and verify the complete ink, film and laminate system.
These manufacturer family documents show metric roll presentations and other family choices. The offered configuration here remains 54 in x 55 yd, as listed above; the documents do not change that SKU, finish, adhesive or roll length. A family-level MG-700 reference does not establish a verified available US laminate SKU or size.
Matched matte overlaminate
Metamark identifies MetaGuard MG-700 Series as the matched overlaminate family for MD5-AB. The MG702 clear matte overlaminate, 54 in × 50 yd has the same listed 54-inch width as this print film. Choose it when a matte finish is wanted.
This matched-family recommendation is limited to solvent, eco-solvent and latex prints on flat or slightly curved graphics. Allow the print to cure fully before laminating and test the actual print, laminate and substrate. UV inhibitors in the laminate do not establish suitability for UV-cured inks; no UV-print recommendation or general system warranty is made here.
For installation onto the substrate, MD5-AB uses MetaScape air-release adhesive and requires dry application. Do not use a general wet-lamination statement as permission to wet-apply this print film.
This media roll is 55 yards long; the linked laminate roll is 50 yards long and cannot cover its full length. Plan the usable printed length and allowance for setup and trimming.
