MACtac PERMACOLOR Gemini XT opaque white is a double-coated mounting film for back-mounting photographs and digital graphics to compatible display boards. Aggressive rubber-based permanent adhesive on both sides provides a quick, strong bond. A white polycoated paper liner protects the adhesive and supports processing through cold-roll laminators. The opaque white carrier helps block the underlying surface from showing through. Supplied as a 51-inch by 150-foot roll. Prepare clean mounting surfaces and test the print-and-board combination before use. The February 2017 performance guide gives an up-to-one-year outdoor estimate, while the September 2026 catalog lists three years. Application and construction qualifications
Use for back-mounting prints to compatible boards, not second-surface face mounting. This is mounting adhesive film, not direct-print media.
The current catalog identifies PET while the February 2017 guide identifies polypropylene; the carrier polymer is not confirmed here. The catalog’s 1.5-mil carrier-only reference and the guide’s 5-mil carrier-plus-adhesive reference are different measurements, not an established total-product thickness.
Do not interpret permanent/permanent labels as installation side-order instructions. Confirm the current construction and application requirements before production.
