Non-cast vinyl overlaminates for compatible intermediate graphics on flat surfaces and simple curves. The current 3M bulletin specifies 8508 gloss at 2.6 mil, 8509 luster at 3 mil, and 8510M matte at 3.5 mil. Suitable uses include signs, labels, displays and smooth-wall graphics. Floor applications are limited to approved constructions using 8509 or 8510M.

Choose the exact gloss, luster or matte option and follow the matched print-film and ink instructions. Fully dry or cure printed graphics before lamination. The floor-use discussion in the overlaminate bulletin applies to 8509 and 8510M, not 8508, and still requires the specified matched construction, surface preparation, inspection and maintenance. It is not universal floor approval.

For 8508 gloss or 8509 luster, the following film bulletins list these two overlaminates as graphic-protection options. This is not a recommendation for every laminate finish or for floor use.
This page offers 30 in laminate rolls. Use the linked 30 in print-film options only, not their narrower 20 or 24 in options. Laminate lengths are 50 or 100 yd; a 150 yd print-film roll needs additional laminate length.
