A clear, 8 mil calendered vinyl overlaminate with a luster finish for compatible floor graphics and selected vertical graphics. It helps protect the printed graphic from scuffing and can be cleaned and waxed. Use it as part of the appropriate 3M graphic construction on the surfaces specified in the current application instructions.

Which floor instructions apply?
Use the indoor-floor guidance for 3645. Confirm the base film, ink system and actual surface before production; 3645 is not a substitute for 3647 in the 3662 sidewalk system. The manual covers sound, smooth surfaces including waxed vinyl, sealed concrete, ceramic tile, marble, sealed wood and terrazzo.
How should the floor be prepared and maintained?
Follow the indoor cleaning sequence on page 3; the completely dry floor surface must be 50°F to 100°F. Do not use loose or uneven flooring. Finish all edges securely. For floors routinely buffed or scrubbed, follow page 7’s waxing instructions; afterward keep the graphic and surrounding floor clean and dry for at least four hours, without scrubbing or buffing. Pages 7–8 cover care and removal.
Wet or contaminated graphics can be slippery. Keep indoor graphics away from wet entryways, promptly remove spills, and replace the entire graphic if it lifts. Product test classifications do not guarantee every installed surface or establish warranty coverage.
